The National Service of Migration (SNM -spanish acronym), announced that from October 12, 2018, until the next five years (2023), will grant visas stamps of multiple entrances and exits to the tourists and industrialists from countries such as: Cuba, China, Dominican Republic, Venezuela and India.

The objective of this regulation according to the SNM is:

“… Facilitate travel procedures for tourists and businessmen who regularly enter Panama and contribute to the development and economic growth.”

This regulation seeks to enforce the Executive Decree Nº 611 of October 11, 2018, which will be executed according to the verification criteria of the officials, to those who require a visa to enter Panama. Until now, the valid period for the stamped visa is ranged from three months to three years.

The entity, SNM, emphasized that according to the Law Decree Nº3 of February 22, 2008, the
length of stay allowed for foreign visitors lasts for 30 days.
