Between January and September of this year, the Consumer Protection and Defense of Competition Authority (ACODECO-spanish acronym) received a total of 2,801 complaints from different national consumers, which generated an amount of $52,772,444.00.

These cases were registered for 82 activities, where the real estate companies led with 673 reported cases of complaints with a value of $ 46,843,026.00. The rest of the activities from which the complaints were generated were funerals, sale of appliances, cell phones and car agencies, among others.
